Spring Break Faculty Writing Retreat
Tuesday, 3/12/24 – Wednesday 3/13 /24 (Breakfast/Lunch Provided)
This writing retreat is especially for those who need protected time and space away from the
office and other responsibilities to focus on academic writing. Intentionally timed during
spring break, this 2-day writing retreat will allow faculty not only to get traction on writing
projects, but, as it fits, to develop ideas and outlines that could provide the foundation for a
full proposal. Attend one or two days. (Registration has concluded for this event – check back for next year’s schedule)

CITI Grant Writing Course
Whether you are a faculty member, a student or staff member, this grant writing course can
assist assist you with writing a great grant proposal! This course is offered on-demand and is
an underutilized resource that OGSR offers to the campus.

NEH Summer Stipends Workshop
Wednesday, 3/20/24 – Noon-1PM (Lunch Provided)
The NEH Summer Stipend program supports individuals pursuing advanced research that is
of value to humanities scholars, general audiences, or both. Summer Stipends support
continuous full-time work on a humanities project at any stage of development for a period
of two consecutive months. This program requires tenured/tenure-track applicants to be
nominated by an official on their campus. Come learn more about the NEH Summer

Early Career Lunch & Learn
Wednesday, 4/10/24 – Noon-1PM (Lunch Provided)
The NSF CAREER award represents a significant opportunity to support the early career
activities of many pre-tenure researchers. Each year the program grows in competitiveness,
and with a limited number of submissions available to faculty, developing the most
