This writing retreat is designed to support faculty academic writing, whether it be writing up research results, working on a peer-reviewed journal article or a book chapter, developing a one-page concept outline for new research, working on a grant or fellowship proposal, or other related writings. This targeted support for the teacher-scholar paradigm is intended to provide protected time to write in the context of a community of scholars and, from the vantage point of the Office of Grants and Sponsored Research, serves as the “ground” for OGSR’s work with and support of faculty and staff.
